ICHOICE AND GROUND OF NOMENCLATURE FOR INDEXES OF

The article is sacred to the study of estimation of reliability for metallurgical equipment
on the stage of its planning with the purpose of choice and ground of basic reliability
indexes with the subsequent setting of her optimal norms.

The theory of reliability studies conformities to law of origin of refuses and
proceeding in the capacity of equipment, influence of external and internal factors on
reliability of technical devices, methods of quantitative determination and methods of
providing of the set level of its reliability during planning, making and exploitation.
Long-term researches, in relation to reliability of apparatuses in the different
spheres of activity of man resulted in creation in the second half of past century of
domestic SIS from reliability, and later intergovernmental system of standards "Reliability
in a technique", which was signed by six countries of the CIS, including
Ukraine.
